這首歌其實讓人有點兒感傷，因為通篇皆是過去式時態。如果愛是動詞，人們總是比較偏好進行式，讓愛在此時此刻延續著，生長著。可是我比較貪心，我期待的是一個現在式，表事實見解，可以對抗時間進行，穿越過去，擁有未來。一切的問題可能不斷地發生，隨著時間過去也許只會證實我是多麼的不完美，但在任何時候我都無須擔心love的時態，總是可以毫不猶豫地，為一段關係放入一個又一個的現在式動詞，我不用總是如履薄冰地過日子，害怕一覺醒來生命中的一切都加上了ed。

I have your love, I have it all, at any time, and in the future. 一句現在式時態，也就是一個讓我安心的所在。我始終相信，這並非遙不可及。
